Application
- The 7451 is a general purpose thermocouple temperature transmitter designed for high-temperature measurement in demanding industrial environments.
- Ideal for use in chemical plants, refineries, power generation, marine environments and heat treatment processes requiring accurate and stable temperature monitoring up to 850°C.
- Suitable for temperature measurement in both gaseous and liquid media.
- Marine certifications: DNV, BV, LR, ClassNK, RINA
Technical characteristics
- The 7451 model is equipped with an interchangeable Type K, class 2 thermocouple insert, allowing for easy replacement or calibration without removing the entire sensor assembly from the process.
- The design ensures minimal downtime and consistent measurement accuracy in high-temperature applications.
- The protective tube is manufactured from acid-proof stainless steel AISI 316Ti, providing excellent resistance to heat, oxidation, and corrosion.
- A ½" R or ½" G welded thread nipple offers flexible and reliable process connection options.
- The protective tube has an outer diameter of 8 mm, combining durability with a fast thermal response.
- The terminal head is a DIN 43729 form B aluminum housing, finished with a robust industrial-grade lacquer to ensure long-term corrosion protection in harsh operating environments.
Electrical connection
- Delivered with a 2-wire thermocouple connection, ensuring dependable signal transmission and stable performance across the full temperature range up to 850°C.
Options
- Combine with the PR 5300 / PR 5400 series transmitter - we can deliver the transmitter pre-mounted to the sensor.
- Optional ceramic socket available for connection to externally installed transmitters.
- Material certificate, certificate of origin, certificate of conformity and calibration reports can be supplied when ordered together with the sensor.
