Application
- The 7480 stainless steel RTD temperature sensor is a general purpose transmitter designed for accurate temperature measurement in a wide range of industrial systems.
- Ideal for use in chemical and pharmaceutical plants, power generation, refineries, district heating, and marine applications.
- Suitable for temperature measurement in gaseous and liquid media within the range of –50...400°C.
- Marine certifications: DNV, BV, LR, ClassNK, RINA
Technical characteristics
- The sensor features a fixed class A Pt100 measurement insert, providing reliable and accurate temperature readings across the full operating range.
- The protective tube made of stainless steel AISI 316Ti and terminal housing made of stainless steel offer exceptional corrosion resistance, durability, and suitability for demanding process environments.
- A ½" G threaded process connection is welded to the protective tube for a secure and robust installation.
- The terminal head is a DIN 43729 form B design, fully stainless steel for enhanced mechanical protection and long service life even under harsh industrial conditions.
- The ⌀9 mm protective tube ensures mechanical stability while maintaining fast thermal response.
Electrical connection
- Supplied with a 3-wire configuration, providing cable resistance compensation and maintaining high measurement accuracy throughout the temperature range.
Options
- Combine with the PR 5300 / PR 5400 series transmitter - we can deliver the transmitter pre-mounted to the sensor.
- Optional ceramic socket available for connection to externally installed transmitters.
- Material certificate, certificate of origin, certificate of conformity and calibration reports can be supplied when ordered together with the sensor.
