PReview 5714 has become even better
The new version of the 5714 now features programmable response time on the analogue output and programmable ON/OFF delay on the relays. Furthermore, the input is now suitable for many more thermocouple types than previously and a menu item allows the user to choose freely between help texts in eight languages. Naturally, all these features are also found in the 5715.

PReview 5715 includes all the above enhancements and furthermore complements the many strengths of the 5714 with new, interesting features: 

Programmable via PC
As a new feature, the 5715 can be programmed either by way of the front keys or via PC. If you choose to configure the display by way of a PC and PR's programming software PReset, additional setup possibilities are at your disposal, e.g. custom linearisation and special input ranges. PReset also allows you to configure any number of displays quickly and easily, as the configuration can be copied from unit to unit via the software. 

Tank level control
The many configuration possibilities such as custom linearisation, special input ranges and advanced relay settings, e.g. delay, make the 5715 perfectly suited for monitoring and control of the contents in non-linear tanks, e.g. in the marine industry. The four potential-free relays and the analogue output make PReview 5715 the ideal display for safe and detailed control of process flows.

PReview 5715 and 5714 - displays in the lead

Universal and unique
5714 and 5715 are designed to display current, voltage, temperature and potentiometer signals and they both have universal supply voltage of 21.6…253 VAC / 19.2…300 VDC. With their universal features, the six product variants in the display series cover hundreds of applications. This allows the user to gain a thorough knowledge of the product and at the same time the company saves money in connection with inventory management and purchasing.

5714 and 5715 are ideally suited for applications in e.g. the marine industry and in the fields of waste water treatment, power production, chemical production and energy supply, where reliable and accurate displays are essential. Both displays have been designed to comply with the strictest European standards and are also approved by UL for installation in the USA and by DNV for marine applications.

User-friendliness in focus
With PReview 5714 and 5715 PR electronics proves yet again that a broad field of applications can easily go hand in hand with a high degree of user-friendliness.

These displays make heavy operator manuals unnecessary, as simplicity is the key word in the communication between the user and 5714 / 5715. Both displays contain scrolling help texts in eight languages, which are freely selectable directly from the front. The help texts guide the user safely through all the configuration steps by way of the front keys. The dialogue between user and display takes place in the large 4-digit, 14-segment LED display, which optimises  usability as it employs all the letters of the alphabet, contrary to ordinary 7-segment displays. The configuration via PC, which is now a possibility with the 5715, is also characterised by its simplicity. 

Many other features contribute to making 5714 and 5715 indispensable partners in you process. For example, the displays perform automatic cold junction compensation for thermocouple sensors by way of an internal sensor, and a test of the relay function is carried out in no time, as each relay can be activated and deactivated independently of the input signal.   

Reliable displays
PReview 5714 and 5715 have been designed according to PR electronics’ strict demands for safety on all levels and are therefore provided with a range of built-in protection and safety measures, making these displays robust and reliable performers. The supply, relays and the analogue output are separated by high galvanic isolation. The analogue input is protected against over-currents and the analogue output is current-limited. Last, but not least, the two displays are sealed to a tightness rating of IP 65 from front, protecting the electronics against ingress of water, e.g. in connection with cleaning of the surrounding area. If supplementary protection is required, a specially-designed splash-proof cover is available as an accessory. In case of sensor error, PReview 5714 and 5715 register the error immediately and give and alarm via the display and/or the relay output.
