 Peter Rasmussen

|
After 35 years as managing director of PR electronics, Peter Rasmussen will go into retirement as of 30 April 2009
In 1974 Peter Rasmussen founded PR electronics as a one-man company based out of his home. Trained as an electronics engineer, Peter Rasmussen started on a small scale with customer-specific projects which developed into the well-known red devices that can be found in a great number of processing plants around the world. Today, after 35 years of constant development, PR electronics has grown to an international company with 190 employees worldwide, subsidiaries in 7 countries as well as distributors in more than 45 countries.
Peter Rasmussen leaves his life’s work safely in the hands of his son, Kim Rasmussen, who will assume the position of Managing Director. Kim Rasmussen has been actively involved in PR electronics since 1994 when he started PR’s first subsidiary in France. For the past 10 years he has acted as Sales Director and when he assumes full responsibility for the company on 30 April he will be the second generation to carry on the business in the same spirit that has characterised Peter Rasmussen’s leadership since the beginning in 1974. However, Peter Rasmussen will not sever all ties to the company as he will continue as chairman of the board.
This change in ownership and management will have no consequences on the PR electronics that our customers and other business partners know today and we will continue to make products characterised by: Reliability, Flexibility and User-friendliness.
We are looking forward to the continued cooperation with all our partners under our new
management.
