Everyday, more than 200 employees work relentlessly at designing and producing signal conditioning (interface) devices for the process industry within temperature, I.S. interfaces, panel meters, signal isolators, signal conditioners and converters. We are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of signal conditioning products with an installed base of 5,000,000+ units.
In fact, we focus solely on signal conditioning and pride ourselves on doing everything in-house at our headquarters in Rønde near Aarhus, Denmark. The fact that we carry out the entire process from bare board to the final product in our own factory means that we are able to increase reliability, flexibility and speed for our more than 10,000 customers across the globe.

Company ownership
PR electronics was founded in 1974 by Peter Rasmussen. In 2009, his son, Kim Rasmussen, took over the company as CEO and owner. In 2023, the company was acquired by Kirk Kapital in partnership with AGIC Capital.
The majority of PR electronics continue to be controlled by Danish Investors including Kirk Kapital, management and Kim Rasmussen, who reinvests into the company. The acquisition of PR electronics is expected to secure accelerated growth and the successful development of the company in the future.
AAA rating creates trust
PR electronics continues to receive the highest possible credit rating, the AAA rating, from the analysis firm Dun & Bradstreet, formerly known as Bisnode.
Only 2% of all Danish companies receive the AAA rating which is a signal to our customers and suppliers that PR electronics is a trustworthy and credible partner. A stable and reliable business partner that is safe to enter into business with and that stands for secure and credible transactions.
