Galvanic isolation
This tank stores water that was previously softened by a chemical softening system and the WAC DC softening process.
A pressure transmitter is used to measure the water level in the tank. The transmitter is powered by a 3104 isolated converter and the signal is converted to 0...10 VDC and retransmitted to the PLC, with the added benefit of galvanic isolation and strong noise immunity.
