CCC certification – China

CCC certification – China

  • China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is similar to other certifications for product quality standardization–such as the European CE system–but there are important differences.
  • The CCC  certificate was introduced in 2002 and applies to imported goods as well as to Chinese products.
  • Products which require certification may only be imported, sold and/or used in business activities in China, after a China Compulsory Certification has been obtained.
  • Not all products require a CCC certification.
  • Most of PR electronics A/S products are not listed on the mandatory product list / table and does therefore NOT require a CCC certification.
  • By October 2020 specific Ex products need a China CCC certification. However, our temperature transmitters and converters do NOT require CCC certification. We applied for a CCC certification for specific 3000 series and 9000 series products in order to meet the October 2020 deadline, but due to the current COVID19 situation the onsite audit and assessment was delayed.
CCC certification is now available for the relevant 9000 series products (9106, 9107, 9202, 9203 and 9410) on our website.
We are in ongoing dialog with the certification agency on how to obtain the CCC certification as soon as possible for the 3000 series. We expect to have these by the beginning of 2021. Once the certifications are ready they will be made available on our website.
