PR electronics expands global Ex approvals with PESO (India) and Ukrainian certifications
Product rollout will take place during September and October 2026.
PR electronics has successfully obtained PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization) approval for all 5300/6300 and 5400/6400 Series temperature transmitters in B/D variants, the 7501 field-mounted temperature transmitter, and 9000 Series Ex isolation products in B variants.
PESO approval is a key regulatory requirement for equipment used in hazardous areas within India's oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, and process industries.
For Indian end users, EPC contractors, system integrators, and plant operators, PESO approval simplifies project specification and regulatory compliance.
It also enables international EPCs, OEMs, skid builders, and equipment manufacturers supplying projects to the Indian market to standardize on PR electronics solutions with confidence, knowing that the products meet local approval requirements.
Local Ex certification for Ukrainian market
In addition, PR electronics has obtained local Ex certification for the Ukrainian market for products within its 9000B series Ex portfolio, further strengthening market access and regulatory compliance for customers operating in Ukraine.
Following successful approval, the products will be progressively introduced to the market throughout September and October 2026, supported by the rollout of associated product markings, certification documentation, and technical literature.
