Application
- The 7406 is a general purpose RTD temperature transmitter designed for high-precision temperature measurement within the operating range of the sensor element.
- Suitable for use in industrial systems, chemical and pharmaceutical processes, and HVAC or refrigeration applications where accuracy and stability are essential.
- Ideal for temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media from 0...150°C.
Technical characteristics
- The 7406 model is equipped with a class AA Pt100 sensor element, ensuring high precision and excellent repeatability within its calibrated range of 0…150°C.
- The interchangeable insert design allows easy replacement and maintenance without removing the complete sensor assembly from the process.
- The protective tube is manufactured from stainless, acid-proof steel EN 1.4571/1.4404 / AISI 316L/TI, delivering excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
- A ½" G or ½" R welded thread nipple offers a secure and robust process connection.
- The sensor is constructed with a Ø9 mm protective tube and a compact configuration ideal for precision low-to-medium temperature installations.
- The terminal head is a standard DIN 43729 form B housing in aluminum, protected with a robust industrial lacquer for resistance to corrosion and wear.
Electrical connection
- Supplied with a 4-wire configuration, providing full compensation for lead resistance and ensuring maximum measurement accuracy across the specified temperature range.
Options
- Combine with the PR 5300 / PR 5400 series transmitter - we can deliver the transmitter pre-mounted to the sensor.
- Optional ceramic socket available for connection to externally installed transmitters.
- Material certificate, certificate of origin, certificate of conformity and calibration reports can be supplied when ordered together with the sensor.
