Application
- A compact RTD temperature sensor designed for accurate and reliable temperature measurement of liquid and gaseous media across a wide range of industrial applications.
- It is ideal for installations where fast electrical connection and disconnection are required. Commonly used in processing plants, the shipping industry, refrigeration systems, mechanical engineering, and the energy sector.
- The integrated 2-wire PR 5802 transmitter allows easy parameterization and adaptation of process and sensor characteristics when used with the optional PR Loop Link programmer.
Technical characteristics
- This sensor is equipped with an integrated programmable transmitter (PR 5802) that delivers a standard 4...20 mA output signal, ensuring compatibility with most industrial control and monitoring systems.
- Built to handle mechanical and thermal stress in accordance with DIN 43772, the sensor provides long-lasting performance even in demanding environments.
- The outer protective sheath and process nipple are made from acid-proof stainless steel EN 1.4571 / AISI 316Ti, ensuring corrosion resistance and durability in aggressive media.
- The process connection is ¼" G for easy installation.
- Designed to withstand media temperatures up to 250°C, with an ambient temperature range of -40…85°C, this sensor maintains precise performance under harsh environmental conditions.
- 7802 withstands vibration and offers a quick reaction time, making it suitable for dynamic process conditions.
Electrical connection
- The sensor uses an M12 connector, code A, for fast coupling and uncoupling and secure electrical contact.

Pin 1: + terminal in passive current loop (red for Loop Link programmer)
