Application
- General purpose RTD temperature transmitter for temperature measurement in industrial systems, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, cold storage plants, district heating, power plants, refineries and ships.
- The 7404 model is equipped with an interchangeable Pt100 cable measurement insert, allowing for easy replacement and maintenance without disturbing the process installation.
- The protective tube is manufactured from stainless, acid-proof steel EN 1.4571 / AISI 316Ti, providing excellent corrosion resistance even in harsh environments.
- A ½" R or ½" G threaded nipple is welded to the protective tube for a robust and adaptable process connection.
- The sensor is constructed with a Ø8 mm protective tube and a compact configuration ideal for precision low-to-medium temperature installations.
- The terminal head is a standard DIN 43729 form B housing made of light-alloy metal, protected against corrosion with durable industrial lacquer.
- Marine certifications: DNV, BV, LR, ClassNK, RINA
Electrical connection
- Each sensor element is delivered with a 3-wire connection, allowing for cable resistance compensation and maintaining high measurement accuracy even over long cable runs.
Options
- Combine with the PR 5300 / PR 5400 series transmitter - we can deliver the transmitter pre-mounted to the sensor.
- Optional ceramic socket available for connection to externally installed transmitters.
- Material certificate, certificate of origin, certificate of conformity and calibration reports can be supplied when ordered together with the sensor.
