Application
- The 7450 is a general purpose thermocouple temperature transmitter designed for high-temperature measurement in industrial and process applications.
- Suitable for use in power generation, refineries, chemical processing, marine environments and heat treatment systems, as well as other installations requiring stable performance at elevated temperatures.
- Ideal for temperature measurement in gaseous and liquid media up to 850°C.
- Marine certifications: DNV, BV, LR, ClassNK, RINA
Technical characteristics
- The 7450 model features a fixed type K class 2 thermocouple sensor element, providing reliable and fast temperature response for high-temperature applications.
- The protective tube is made of acid-proof stainless steel AISI 316Ti, ensuring excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures.
- A ½" G welded thread nipple provides a strong and secure process connection.
- An optional cooling extension is available, allowing safe operation and long service life in high-temperature applications up to 850°C.
- The protective tube has an outer diameter of 9 mm, optimized for both durability and quick response time.
- The terminal head is a standard DIN 43729 form B aluminum housing, coated with an industrial-grade lacquer for corrosion protection and long service life in harsh environments.
Electrical connection
- The sensor is supplied with a 2-wire thermocouple connection, delivering dependable and accurate signal transmission across the full operating range up to 850°C.
Options
- Combine with the PR 5300 / PR 5400 series transmitter - we can deliver the transmitter pre-mounted to the sensor.
- Optional ceramic socket available for connection to externally installed transmitters.
- Material certificate, certificate of origin, certificate of conformity and calibration reports can be supplied when ordered together with the sensor.
